MQP's Fall Alpha Series will kick off on Tuesday, September 24th at 10 a.m. and Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m.
“I have a new and wonderful relationship with the Holy Spirit which is bringing spiritual healing to old hurts in my self and relationships with others.” Brian Bashinski shared, after going through MQP’s Alpha series. “The videos expanded my understanding of and love for Christ, as well as the Holy Spirit. The small group discussion helped me feel God’s love.” When asked, “What did you enjoy most about Alpha? How would you describe your Spiritual engagement at this point?” Brian responded, “I have a confidence in and passion for God that I don’t ever remember experiencing before.”
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Alpha is a ten week series. This fall we are offering both a morning and evening Alpha. The evening Alpha includes a sit-down dinner (supplied free of charge by the parish) and is on Thursdays. The morning Alpha will include breakfast goodies, both include an insightful and entertaining video that presents a different weekly topic related to the Christian faith, and a time of small group discussion on the topic of the week. Alpha explores and reflects on questions that touch on the heart of our human experience, and the core issues of our Christian faith. Why am I here? s there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? How can we have faith? It is not so much a course, but an experience. The beauty of Alpha is that there are no questions that are too hostile, too silly or too simple. Last spring we completed our twelfth Alpha series. We have received tremendously high marks for the program itself and extremely positive accounts of participant’s experiences with their small groups. Please consider attending one of our fall Alpha Series’ and invite a friend to join you!
We know you’ll be glad you did.
