LETTER FROM FR. CHAD - MASS PROTOCOLS -
JULY 16, 2020

PERSONAL PRAYER

The church open for private prayer:  Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Prayer at Home:  Archbishop Etienne has asked all churches to toll their bells at 12:00 noon as a sign of solidarity, as well as for all of us to pray the Angelus and the Our Lady of Seattle Prayer at this time. Find these prayers and other resources on our “Faith at Home” page:  https://mqpevents.weebly.com/faith-at-home-resources.html

CONFESSIONS

Our usual confession times have been suspended until further notice. You can, however, still make an appointment with Fr. Chad by emailing him. Fr. Chad can even hear your confession in the parking lot, so that you can stay in your car.
If you are not able to leave your home at this time, be sure that our Merciful God knows your intention. Please make a sincere Act of Contrition and resolve to come to Confession in person as soon as you are able.
Find suggestions for this prayer on our
“Faith at Home” page.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

Please contact the Parish Office to schedule with Fr. Chad:  (425) 391-1178
If it is urgent, and the Parish Office is closed or is not able to answer, please contact Eastside Pastoral Care, and they will be able to contact Fr. Chad or another priest:  (425) 655-3200

LAST RITES

This is a traditionally-used phrase for receiving Anointing of the Sick and/or Viaticum when someone appears to be approaching death. Please see the phone numbers above to contact Fr.Chad or another priest. You do not need to wait until the last moment or day-of. Please contact us well ahead of time to make sure we have enough time to respond.

OFFICE AVAILABILITY

Someone from the MQP staff  is here answering phones during regular business hours,
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you are at MQP during office hours and need help from a staff member,
please ring the doorbell next to the main office door.

PUBLIC HEALTH

It is very prudent and an act of charity towards others to follow all the guidelines recommended to us by public health officials:  www.doh.wa.gov
Please know that we understand that you might not able to come to church for some time.
Please take advantage of the available on-line resources to make your home even more a place of holiness and prayer!
