Q1: How are events scheduled?
A: We try to schedule events on dates that are requested. And we prioritize Liturgical, Sacramental and Evangelical Parish Events first while taking into consideration other factors such as whether there are youth events in the Church, etc. However, reservations are not guaranteed, and we do our best to give groups as much advanced notice as possible if we have to cancel.
Q2: Can ministry/apostolate groups have tables in the Narthex?
A: No. Ministry / Apostolate groups can set up tables for their events and activities in the Marian Social Hall. This establishes a visible and dedicated space for groups to promote their event and engage with many Parishioners.
Q3: The room I reserved is locked. How can I get in?
A: If the room you reserved is locked, please let the Parish Office know so that it can be unlocked for you. Alternatively, you can call the Maintenance Line at (425) 785-2586. Please do not occupy rooms that you have not reserved.
Q4: I see an empty room, why can’t I use it
A: There are many factors that are taken into consideration when scheduling a room request that you do not know about. Just because a room is empty at the moment, does not mean that it is available for you to use. Please do not occupy rooms that you have not reserved.
Q5: I have helped to cook a meal in the kitchen before, why can’t I use the kitchen?
A: This year our insurance liability payments were increased to $25,000 PER INCIDENT. Our facilities were inspected by the Archdiocese Insurance and Risk Management which lead to some findings that have necessitated a formal kitchen training program. Once you have completed the training program, you will be granted kitchen privileges.
Q6: I need to book a room for my Parish / outside event. Who should I contact?
A: In order to request the use of our facilities please submit a New Event/Actvity:
