Several years ago, Mary, Queen of Peace was invited by Fr. Bill Watson, S.J., from the Jesuit Community in Seattle, to be one of the local parishes that helped in the development of the Sacred Story Institute (SSI). SSI is dedicated to missionary discipleship formation through principles of Ignatian Spirituality.
You might remember when Fr. Watson came to MQP to preach about SSI. Many of our parishioners purchased his book and began participating at that time. Since then, a Sacred Story group has continued to meet regularly here at MQP, and SSI is now bringing people closer to Jesus, Mary, and the sacraments around the world!

You are invited to join the MQP Sacred Story Community beginning in October 2021. Mary, Queen of Peace men and women’s communities meet weekly for prayer and reflection. Sacred Story is a modern adaptation of Ignatian spirituality designed to deepen your relationship with Christ.
